We Are ONE in Christ

“There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.” (Gal. 3:28) While protests continue throughout the United States, we must be reminded that in Christ there is no color, but there is equality. The ground is level at the foot of the cross and in Christ we are all one: God’s own beloved. There will never be true love between races, creeds and cultures outside of the love of God in Christ. Love transcends politics for cannot be legislated, it comes from heaven, not Washington. That is why the answer to any racial prejudice will ultimately be settled at God’s house, not the White House. May we as those in Christ continue to practice Jesus’ commands to “Love your neighbor as yourself.”
